Notable for its location, just 1.8 km from the Marlins Park in Little Havana with Latin-inspired restaurants, cigar shops, rum bars, and music venues, the hotel is 2.5 km from the Miami Tower. Cultural sights in the area are the Wynwood Walls (3.8 km) and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (2.9 km).

The Jefferson Miami is also not far from Lummus Park. The Gesu Catholic Church is nearly 10 minutes' drive away, while Bayfront Park train station is situated around 25 minutes on foot from the property.
